Why Spiritual Confidence?

Many of christians are suffering because they don't know who they are, and what they have received in Christ. 

They let the devil cheat and deceive them into believing that they are meant to be unstable christians, or that they need to work HARD for their righteousness. 


The bible verses below will remind you of the marvelous identity you have in Christ, as a chosen, loved, and transformed child of God. 


1. If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will bgne saved. 

 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 

Romans 10:9 - 10 NLT

Affirmation: I am a saved soul.


2. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.

And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15 NIV

Affirmation: God is now my father.


3. See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the CHILDREN of God! 

And so we are! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 

1 John 3:1 AMP

Affirmation: I am a child of God.


4. And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], 

If indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory. 

Romans 8:17 AMP

Affirmation: I am an heir of God receiving His spiritual blessings.


5. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. 

In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 

Ephesians 1:4 - 5 NIV

Affirmation: I am not a mistake. God chose me before the creation of the world. 


6. Nothing about me is hidden from you! I was secretly woven together out of human sight, but with your own eyes you saw my body being formed. 

Even before I was born, you had written in your book everything about me. Psalms 139:15 - 16 CEVDCI

Affirmation: God knows everything about me. Yet he chose me. 


7. Now to a laborer, his wages are not credited as a favor or a gift, but as an obligation [something owed to him]. 

But to the one who does not work [that is, the one who does not try to earn his salvation by doing good], but believes and completely trusts in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God). 

Romans 4:4 - 5 AMP

Affirmation: God is the one that makes me righteous, not my works. 

I believe it and I proclaim; I am a righteous.


8. I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. 

The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Galatians 2:20 AMP

Affirmation: Christ lives in me. I live by faith(believing).


9. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: 

The old has gone, the new is here!

2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

Affirmation: I am a new creation.


10. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Ephesians 2:10 NLT

Affirmation: I am God's masterpiece 


Read the bible verses and let each verse be mixed with faith in you. That is, believe they are true. 

Even when your mind says the opposite, Hold on to these truths that were made crystal clear in the bible and to your confession, Do not let the devil convince you otherwise.
